Portfolio
A showcase of my personal projects...
Metal Mummy is my fiancée's lovely blog about toddlers and mummy life. The blog is a standard Wordpress blog with a theme I based on Starkers (by Elliot Jay Stocks) and design specifically (and personally!) for Hannah.
Private Passwords is a site that allows users to save and look up complex passwords for their online websites. I used Zend Framework to make this, and explored the most secure methods of encryption. I used a combination of GIMP and Adobe® Photoshop® for the graphical work. The databases I utilised were MySQL and SQLite.
Jess Chant is an artist friend of mine who paints "small worlds within nature". I created her website using Zend Framework and the graphical work was done in GIMP. I used a MySQL database for the back end.
Sanita is a friend who makes wonderful wedding, celebration and cup cakes. I built her site using Zend Framework and designed it from scratch in Adobe® Photoshop® using elements of the Courtyard Cakes branding.
Frosthold is my band's website, which currently uses a homegrown MVC framework written in PHP. The database is MySQL and makes heavy use of RSS feeds, including aggregating a MySpace RSS feed, as well as generating it's own valid feed which in turn uses Google Feedburner. I also built a merchandise store which uses PayPal's checkout service.
I previously worked for Airborne Interactive and spearheaded the new Singapore Airlines' KrisWorld In-flight Entertainment system for around 3 years. I wrote a custom Javascript framework and most of the code-base in HTML and PHP. I was not involved in the graphical design which was outsourced.
