Private Passwords is a site that allows users to save and look up complex passwords for their online websites. I used Zend Framework to make this, and explored the most secure methods of encryption. I used a combination of GIMP and Adobe® Photoshop® for the graphical work. The databases I utilised were MySQL and SQLite and this project makes extensive use of SSL certificates, both externally and internally.
Jess Chant is an artist who paints "small worlds within nature". I created her website using Zend Framework and the graphical work was done in GIMP. I used a MySQL database for the back end.
Frosthold is my band's website, which currently uses a homegrown MVC framework written in PHP. The database is MySQL and makes heavy use of RSS feeds, including aggregating a MySpace RSS feed, as well as generating it's own valid feed which in turn uses Google Feedburner. I also built a merchandise store which uses PayPal's checkout service.
Sarah takes wedding and portrait photographs, and some of her work is really great. I used coolMenus for the menu and Lightbox for the gallery. I did not use a PHP framework for this project, and this was the last project that was not fully Object Orientated PHP. The actual design of the site is entirely text based to focus the viewer on the photography that Sarah has done. There is also an Adobe® Flash® introduction page which Sarah requested.
I worked for Airborne Interactive and spearheaded the new Singapore Airlines' KrisWorld In-flight Entertainment system for around 3 years. I wrote a custom Javascript framework and most of the code-base in HTML and PHP. I was not involved in the graphical design which was outsourced.
