Hi there! I'm James Titcumb, and - as you may have guessed - am a web developer and designer. I've been doing this for over 10 years now and love what I do so much that I have made it my career for over 8 years and I currently work full time for an awesomely fun company called Netbasic.
This picture is of me and my 37 month old daughter Freyja, and I live with my beautiful fiancée Hannah in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
I currently work for Netbasic where we develop financial product comparison websites, for example Protected.co.uk and Trapped.co.uk. We use a custom MVC framework and make use of a number of web services in combination with a complex custom tracking system to analyse site performance. I also develop many of our internal web applications.
On 9th Septmber 2011 I became a Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5.3 which is a measure of experience in the world of PHP. The certification program is identical in concept to others such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP).
